IMPORTANT PAYE/NATIONAL INSURANCE NEWS:

HM Revenue & Customs have introduced new late payment penalties. They apply to monthly, quarterly and annual periods of PAYE starting on or after 6 April 2010.

IMPORTANT VAT NEWS:

From 1 April 2010 many VAT-registered businesses will have to file their VAT Returns online. From 1 April 2010, if your annual business turnover was £100,000 or more in the 12 months ended 31 Decembe 2009, or if you become VAT-registered on or after 1 April 2010, you will have to submit VAT returns online and pay VAT electronically.
