The initial review

We will devote as much time as necessary, free of charge, at our first meeting with a new client, to ensure that we are fully familiar with their needs.If a new business is being considered, we will advise on the best structure for that business i.e. sole trader, partnership, or limited company.

We will advise on the various forms of taxation that could impact on the business and its proprietors. Income Tax, Corporation Tax, Value Added Tax, together with the various forms of National Insurance which may affect the business, whilst the proprietors may be planning for retirement and will also need to consider Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax.

This initial review will also deal with any other concerns the client may have, such as acquiring business premises, employing staff, or the financing of business assets.

The business plan

Whether the business is only a germ of an idea, or a successful one hoping to expand, we are able to assist with all aspects of the business plan. Our service incorporates the following essential areas in assessing the viability of a business proposition:

We believe it is important that a new or expanding business knows in advance the costs involved in any project, and should not be exposed to an open ended, time based fee arrangement.

If operated to its full potential, not only will it provide important management information, but it will also reduce accountancy fees at the year end, as the need for remedial work on the records will be avoided.
